What exactly is a cloud phone?
A cloud phone is a real, physical Android smartphone hosted in the US, Canada, Ireland, the UK, Germany, Australia, or New Zealand that you control remotely through your browser. It has a real SIM card, real IMEI, and real carrier signal. Unlike virtual phones or emulators, there's actual hardware involved — you're just accessing it remotely instead of holding it in your hand.
Why not just use a VPN or proxy?
TikTok and Instagram check far more than your IP address. They read your SIM card's country code, your device IMEI, GPS location, hardware sensors, and behavioral patterns. A VPN changes only your IP — everything else still points to your real location. A physical US phone passes every check because it genuinely is a US device.
Is this a GeeLark alternative?
Yes — and we go further. GeeLark uses virtual Android environments (cloud-based emulators). HiveReach uses real physical Android hardware with real carrier SIM cards. For platforms that fingerprint devices seriously (TikTok, Instagram), real hardware means dramatically lower ban rates and better algorithm performance.
Can I run multiple TikTok accounts?
Yes — but each account should be on its own phone. TikTok links accounts that share the same device fingerprint, which creates risk across all accounts if one gets flagged. Rent one phone per account (or per account cluster if you're careful), and you have full isolation between accounts.
How does HiveReach compare to building a phone farm?
A 10-device phone farm costs $2,500-3,700 upfront plus $380-710/month in SIM plans, electricity, and maintenance — plus 5-15 hours per week managing hardware. HiveReach offers $20 one-day and $50 one-week one-time rentals, plus recurring subscriptions at $119.99/month or $959.88/year. Every option has zero upfront hardware cost and zero maintenance. For most operators, cloud phones break even versus a farm within 3-4 months.
What apps can I run on the phone?
Any app available on Android. TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, Reddit, WhatsApp, Telegram — any app you'd install on a normal Android phone. The device runs a standard Android OS with full Play Store access.
Can my team access the phone from different countries?
Yes. Real phones are available in the US, Canada, Ireland, the UK, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand. Your team can connect from anywhere — the phone stays in its host country and all platform activity uses that device and its genuine carrier connection.
How quickly can I get started?
Usually within a few minutes of payment. You'll receive browser access credentials via email. Open the link, and you're looking at your phone's live screen. The whole setup — from payment to first app open — takes under 10 minutes.
How do I connect to a prepared phone?
Open your dashboard, wait for the device list, select an authorized phone, and press Connect. A session does not start automatically. The phone must be connected, awake, unlocked, and authorized. Someone responsible for its physical setup may need to accept the Android USB debugging prompt.
Which manual controls are supported?
You can tap, hold, and swipe on the live phone screen and use Back, Home, and Recents. Enter text with the Android on-screen keyboard, and press Disconnect when you have finished.
Can I type using my computer keyboard?
The browser controller described in the product guide does not forward your computer keyboard to the phone. Use the Android on-screen keyboard to enter text.
Can I hear audio from the phone?
The browser controller includes live audio controls. Availability depends on the phone, app, browser support, and session state. Test your required app and browser before relying on a particular audio workflow.
Which browser should I use?
We recommend a current version of Chrome and a stable internet connection. Confirm any workflow that depends on particular hardware or app behavior with support.
What should I do if my phone becomes unavailable?
Check the phone’s connection and authorization with the person responsible for the device, then reconnect. Contact support if you need help confirming that the required phone and workflow are available.
Why does an app show a black screen?
Some Android apps protect sensitive screens from capture, so those screens may appear black through HiveReach. HiveReach does not bypass this protection, and remote control does not promise access to every screen or compatibility with every app.
Does the controller include scheduling, ADB access, or file transfer?
The manual controller described in the product guide does not promise a content-posting scheduler, a customer-accessible ADB endpoint, a CI test runner, arbitrary sensor control, or built-in asset transfer. Confirm any required capability with support before relying on it.
Does a physical phone guarantee account acceptance or reach?
No. A physical Android phone alone does not guarantee a particular Play Integrity verdict, account acceptance, reach, or protection from platform enforcement. Device access also does not establish eligibility for an app, country-specific service, or platform program.
What uses are not permitted on HiveReach?
HiveReach phones may not be used for banking apps, financial fraud, illegal activity, service abuse, or attempts to compromise our devices or network. Educational articles do not authorize banking apps on HiveReach. Violations may lead to suspension or termination without a refund.
