Connection history privacy notice

This notice describes planned paid connection history collection. This feature is not currently activated.

Purpose and data

HiveReach records connections to rented phones to investigate misuse, protect accounts and the service, resolve disputes and respond to individually reviewed lawful requests. This covers renters and invited users, including browser, iOS and Android connections.

The record includes the rental owner and connected account identifiers; email and any verified telephone number at the time, with verification date or an indication that verification is unavailable; access and invitation references; authentication and controller session identifiers; connection times, reconnections and termination; the observed client IP address and source port where reliable; limited browser or app information; phone, Rack and location identifiers; and related order and payment references.

During control we also check the phone’s external IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, recording observation times and unsuccessful checks. A check describes the probe’s own connection: VPNs, different routes and shared networks may give other applications different addresses. It does not establish an address between checks.

This connection history contains no passwords, verification codes, cookies, access tokens, messages or network traffic contents. Guest demos and separate staff connections are outside this log. This notice does not change screenshot processing.

Basis and retention

Our intended basis for routine connection history is our legitimate interest in service security, abuse investigation and establishing or defending claims, subject to our necessity and balancing assessment. Disclosure requires a separate review of the request and its applicable legal basis; a binding legal obligation may apply to a particular disclosure.

We retain each session and its events for 365 days after confirmed termination. When the end cannot be confirmed, we use the last established authorization deadline and mark the uncertainty. One year is HiveReach’s chosen period, not a statement that Polish law generally requires HiveReach to keep this data for one year.

Selected records may remain longer under a documented case preservation hold. Holds have a review date, normally after 90 days; review dates do not automatically remove holds. After the last hold is released, normal retention applies.

Access and your rights

IP and contact snapshots are encrypted. Authorized personnel use restricted administrative access; disclosures are limited to the reviewed request. Recipients may include authorized service providers supporting storage and security and competent authorities where disclosure has a valid basis. A request alone does not authorize unrestricted disclosure.

Contact support@hivereach.app to ask about this processing or exercise applicable rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection. Historical records preserve what was observed at the time; corrections can be recorded without rewriting that history. You may complain to the Polish supervisory authority, UODO. Rights and any restriction are assessed under applicable law. This processing does not make automated decisions about legal requests.
